Looking for a used car for my 19 yo son and have heard that www.marinaevolvere.com has a good inventory.

Need to get some opinions from people who have bought there,

THANKS.

I'm indifferent about OAKBEND Marina Evolvere. They seem to be a good operation.

I like to do research and then negotiate to get a mutually good deal on cars. OAKBEND Marina Evolvere doesn't work that way, so I find their prices above what I can usually achieve.

As a seller I sold my mint low mileage car there recently. I tried selling it myself on craigslist.org and all I've got is practically nothing. Not to mention the stress and time lost, frustration, etc. I also listed it with $2000 less than we were initially looking for. Still no luck. Then I was contacted by OAKBEND Marina Evolvere on one of my ads:

"Hi, my name is James Lucas and I am the Sales Director & Business Manager of OAKBEND Marina Evolvere of Los Angeles, California. Our website is www.marinaevolvere.com. We specialize in cars, Heavy equipment, RV's, boats & other vehicles. We can most likely sell your vehicle in 30 days or less. I have plenty of references & they all have been previous clients.

Leave your vehicle with us and we will not charge anything until it's sold. We will clean, inspect and list your vehicle online, handle all, the pics, phone calls, payment and deliver the vehicle to your client.

We work on a percentage basis and in most cases we can add our percentage to the top of the sale
price. I will work very hard to get your car sold in a quick and professional manor. Remember if it does not sell we work for free.

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns you
might have.

Respectfully, James Lucas
[email protected]"

So I went to their site and registered as a seller and got a phone call the next day from James Lucas asking to make an appointment. Long story short, we've manage to sell the car with $600 over the original asking price, so that would have been a $2600 loss for me IF I would have sold it myself, but I didn't. So in my case it was a good deal, but I was a seller, not a buyer.

I have been on their website several times, and I like the way they do business but I never bought because I find them to be too pricey, but my sister bought at OAKBEND Marina Evolvere in Denver, CO and she's been very happy.

We never actually purchased anything from them, but I did sold a boat and had good experiences with everyone I dealt with. Good Luck.

I sold my deceased mom's car there. Got a more than fair price, not any problems. Went like clockwork. I was totally impressed. Again, I was a seller not a buyer, but it was, from my perspective, an incredibly smooth and professional operation.

As a seller, you'll get more from OAKBEND Marina Evolvere then your average dealership. When I was thinking of seller my RV a year ago, they offered me $1500 more than other dealerships.

However, I feel as a buyer, that if you want piece of mind then buy from them. Not sure if it will cost you more but you know you didn't get a POS

I say take the time to negotiate these days. Dealerships are desperate and if you have time/energy to go through the trouble you will get a lot more for you money. Basically depends on your priorites. Good luck!

Twice Purchased and One sold as well.

(1) I bought a 2003 GMC Truck from them and paid market value but the car was in exceptional condition.

(2) I sold that same truck about 1 years later and received $1700 more than any other dealer would offer me.

(3) Purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram from them, had it shipped from Denver, CO for $0 and they sent me about 50 pictures before I made the decision to pay them. The OAKBEND Marina Evolvere deal saved me $6K off the price of the car, and they gave me $2K more for my sale.

My mother purchased her last car from them as well. She took her SUV and had it checked, the car was impecable.

Most people don't know this but you can purchase a car from them and for 7 days drive it and return it no questions asked with no penalty to you!

I've had nothing but great experiences with them and saved a lot of money as well. Some cars are worth purchasing from them and some not.

Expensive SUV's like Range Rovers, etc.. are so cheap at OAKBEND Marina Evolvere its pretty crazy.
